Randy Beggs has approximately 34 years in the Car haul industry. He is currently the President & CEO of Proficient Auto Transport; Inc. Before being named President & CEO in 2018, Randy began his tenure with Proficient as COO. Randy also serves as a Consultant to Industry Leaders as well as an Industry Legal Consultant for high profile Car Haul related cases. Prior to joining Proficient. Randy served as the Executive Vice President of Diversified Automotive in Boston, MA. Before working for Diversified, Randy spent 24 years at Jack Cooper Transport where he began his career in Transportation as a Yard Supervisor in 1988. He spent his career with Jack Cooper working his way up from an entry level supervisor role to Senior VP of Operations and Marketing. Randy is one of very few, if not the only executive in the Car Haul business whose breadth of experience includes truck away, railheads, plants, ports, rail loading/unloading, storage, yard management, accessorizing, import/export, cross border operations, brokering, and sales and marketing. Randy also has physically loaded and unloaded all equipment types which gives him a unique understanding and perspective. It’s this expansive degree of experience in our industry that drives Randy’s ability to lead and facilitate Organizational change. Randy currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with his wife, Lisa, of 34 years. They have 2 children; Kaitlyn, 28 an assistant director at a large Marketing firm in Chicago; and Randy Jr, 26 a captain in the Marines.

Jennifer Sarah (JS) Bolton leads finished vehicle logistics for Nissan in North America, along with leading supply chain systems and strategy. She’s been at Nissan since 2013 in roles of increasing responsibility in both manufacturing and supply chain at the carmakers Smyrna, Tennessee and Canton, Mississippi plants. Immediately prior to her current role, she was director of body and stamping in Mississippi, where she led the Canton team through the launch of the all-new Frontier. Prior to coming to Nissan, JS worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong, specializing in advising transportation and logistics companies, as well at a truck aerodynamics start up in San Francisco, At Dynamics. She holds a BA in History and Mechanical Engineering from Yale, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MS in civil engineering from MIT, where she was a Leaders for Global Operations fellow.

Lindsay Bur is a Senior Economic Analyst with the American Trucking Associations, reporting directly to the Chief Economist, Bob Costello. Since joining ATA in 2021, Lindsay has spearheaded the collection and analysis of economic data as it relates to the trucking industry. She authored ATA’s 2022 Driver Compensation Study, a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of how fleets pay their drivers. Prior to joining ATA, she graduated from The University of Virginia with a bachelor’s in economics and a minor in statistical analysis.

In this role, Mike is responsible for providing a strong, unifying, and effective voice for motor carriers and allied partners before Congress and federal agencies. Prior to joining the Automobile Carriers Conference in June 2022, Mike worked for another trucking organization from 2014-2022, and before that he spent eight years (2006-2014) on Capitol Hill working for Congressman John Mica (2006-2008), Congressman Sam Graves (2008-2012) and the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee (2012-2014). He regularly defends transportation related claims, insurance fraud claims, SIU matters, construction, premises liability, motor vehicle, coverage claims, municipal, civil rights and construction related matters. He also serves as the Casualty Supervisor and Managing Attorney of the Westchester office. In this capacity, he oversees the day-to-day operations for the entire office and team of attorneys ensuring that client matters are handled promptly, professionally and effectively. Throughout his career, Harold has focused his practice in the area of trucking and transportation representing specifically buses and paratransit transportation companies in complex and general coverage litigation. As Co-Chair of the Trucking & Transportation Practice Group, he handles all types of personal injury, fatalities arising out of transportation claims, property damage as well as product liability claims. Additionally, Harold concentrates a portion of his practice in the area of SIU/ fraud investigation, primarily dealing with evaluating both medical provider fraud and fraudulent claims on the part of clients' insureds. At the start of his career, Harold was a prosecutor in the state of New York and tried numerous criminal cases while he assisted in overseeing the narcotics unit, the special investigations unit and the child crimes bureau before leaving in 1992. Harold has been honored with the request by the New York State Police Investigators Association Union to serve as critical incident counsel as well as counsel for investigators charged with disciplinary violations within the bureau. He is frequently asked by clients and industry organizations to lecture on a variety of topics concerning bus safety and has presented several times for the Bus Industry Safety Council. Prior to joining the automotive transportation and logistics industry, Tom held positions in public accounting, as well as in manufacturing with a tier two automotive supplier and with a software developer specializing in training and accounting software. Tom earned his B.S. in Accounting at Villanova University and his M.B.A. at Michigan State University

And the former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Road & Rail Services of Louisville, KY. Dennis retired a few years ago from Honda Motor Company where he spent 30 years in executive management and leadership, serving in several different divisions of Honda’s American operations

                              Randy Beggs has approximately 34 years in the Car haul industry. He is currently the President & CEO of Proficient Auto Transport; Inc. Before being named President & CEO in 2018, Randy began his tenure with Proficient as COO. Randy also serves as a Consultant to Industry Leaders as well as an Industry Legal Consultant for high profile Car Haul related cases. Prior to joining Proficient. Randy served as the Executive Vice President of Diversified Automotive in Boston, MA. Before working for Diversified, Randy spent 24 years at Jack Cooper Transport where he began his career in Transportation as a Yard Supervisor in 1988. He spent his career with Jack Cooper working his way up from an entry level supervisor role to Senior VP of Operations and Marketing. Randy is one of very few, if not the only executive in the Car Haul business whose breadth of experience includes truck away, railheads, plants, ports, rail loading/unloading, storage, yard management, accessorizing, import/export, cross border operations, brokering, and sales and marketing. Randy also has physically loaded and unloaded all equipment types which gives him a unique understanding and perspective. It’s this expansive degree of experience in our industry that drives Randy’s ability to lead and facilitate Organizational change. Randy currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with his wife, Lisa, of 34 years. They have 2 children; Kaitlyn, 28 an assistant director at a large Marketing firm in Chicago; and Randy Jr, 26 a captain in the Marines.
